The platform promotes planned care in Costa Rica and organizes the international request, provider options, quotation, appointment, and payment. Medical care remains the sole responsibility of the provider.

Patient journey
Options and quotation
Participating providers are consulted and each confirms availability, scope, and price.
Booking and payment method
The patient accepts the proposal; the quote states whether USDC, card, or bank transfer is available.
Coordination in Costa Rica
CriptoSalud supports bilingual communication and the appointment; the provider directs all clinical care.

Clinic journey
Verified provider
Business identity, permits, authorized contacts and settlement destination are checked.
Quotation
The provider confirms eligibility, availability, service, price, and applicable terms.
Reconciliation
The operation displays gross amount, fee, net amount, method and status.
Settlement
CriptoSalud deposits the net amount to the verified bank destination under the agreement and settlement cycle.
USDC AS AN ADDITIONAL OPTION
The provider decides whether to accept USDC and which settlement currency to receive.
Acceptance is voluntary and enabled only for authorized providers and services. Payment is linked to a specific quotation; according to the agreement and available operation, the provider may receive USDC or bank settlement in USD or CRC.
Authorization
The provider confirms eligible services and settlement currency in writing.
Quotation
Amount, network, validity, fees, and cancellation or refund rules.
Verification
The transaction is checked against the authorized address, asset, network, and amount.
Settlement
The provider receives the net amount in USDC, USD, or CRC and a receipt with reference, costs, and date.
ⓘ USDC is used only as a payment method. It is optional, not accepted by every provider, and CriptoSalud does not promote it as an investment.

The patient receives three confirmations before booking or payment.

Total in USD or CRC and, when enabled, the exact USDC amount and conditions.

Validity, deadlines, foreseeable charges, and applicable refund method.

CriptoSalud organizes communication, quotations, dates, and administrative follow-up.
Clinical care
The provider determines eligibility, consent, diagnosis, treatment, and medical records.
Service payment
Each charge is linked to an accepted quotation and reconciled with the corresponding provider.
