01

Nature of the service

CriptoSalud is a pilot-stage technology and coordination platform. It is not a clinic, hospital, insurer or provider of medical advice. Medical services are the responsibility of the professional or facility engaged by the patient.

02

Emergencies

The website must not be used for emergencies. In Costa Rica, people should contact 9-1-1 or attend the appropriate emergency service.

03

Personal data

Forms request only basic contact information, location, travel window and service category. They must not be used to send diagnoses, records, medical images, identification numbers or financial information.

04

Use of information

Submitted data is used to answer requests, evaluate providers and organize commercial follow-up. Access should be limited to authorized personnel and retained only as long as needed for the stated purpose.

05

Payments and settlements

The current collection, QR, HCRC, USDC, card, transfer and settlement functions are demonstrations. Operating them requires agreements, a payment provider, account verification, reconciliation rules, refunds and dispute management.

06

HCRC and digital assets

HCRC is presented as a reserved healthcare balance, not a promise of returns. Any future digital asset must undergo legal structuring, audit, technical controls and independent assessment before launch.

07

Investors

The investor section is informational and does not constitute a prospectus, public offering, token sale or promise of returns. Funding instructions are not public and may only be provided after eligibility, KYC, signed agreements and written confirmation.

08

Providers

A clinic appearing in the prototype does not imply a real affiliation. Providers must complete commercial verification, permits, settlement account, agreement and operational controls before activation.

09

Refunds and cancellations

Final terms must disclose deadlines, non-refundable costs, clinic responsibilities, processor fees and the refund method before the patient pays.

10

Contact and rights

Before commercial launch, the operating entity, privacy email, complaints channel and mechanisms to request data access, correction or deletion must be published where applicable.
